By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

sellcars.io is an online classifieds marketplace that lets private sellers and dealers publish listings for used vehicles and lets buyers discover and contact them. It is similar in nature to other classifieds platforms.

We are not a party to any transaction between users. We do not buy, sell, own, inspect, store, or take possession of any vehicle. We do not hold funds, process payments, provide escrow, finance purchases, or transfer titles. All negotiations, payments, and the transfer of any vehicle happen directly between buyers and sellers, off-platform, at their own risk.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You may need to sign in (for example, via a third-party identity provider) to create listings, make offers, or send messages.

You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.

You agree that you will not:

• Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive listings or information;
• List stolen vehicles, vehicles you do not have the right to sell, or vehicles whose sale is illegal;
• Misrepresent a vehicle’s condition, history, title status, mileage, or ownership;
• Engage in fraud, scams, money laundering, or any unlawful activity;
• Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse other users;
• Post spam, malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts;
• Violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your listings, messages, and conduct.

Listings must describe a real vehicle that is genuinely available, with accurate details and photographs you have the right to use. We may, at our sole discretion and without notice, remove, edit, or refuse any listing, and suspend or terminate any account, including in response to reports from other users.

We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee any listing, vehicle, seller, or buyer. Any trust signals, badges, or AI-generated content shown on the Service are informational only and do not constitute a guarantee, certification, appraisal, or recommendation. You are responsible for performing your own due diligence — including inspecting the vehicle, verifying ownership and title, confirming the VIN, and obtaining independent inspections — before entering into any transaction.

Any agreement, sale, or other transaction is solely between the buyer and the seller. We are not responsible for, and disclaim all liability arising from, the acts or omissions of any user, the condition or legality of any vehicle, the truth of any listing, the completion of any payment, or any dispute between users. You use the Service and transact with other users at your own risk.

The Service may display vehicle data, including VIN decoding and history information, obtained from third-party sources such as the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). This information is provided “as is,” may be incomplete or inaccurate, and is not independently verified by us. Do not rely on it as your sole basis for a purchasing decision.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any listing or information is accurate, complete, or reliable.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL sellcars.io OR ITS OPERATORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE OR ANY TRANSACTION WITH ANOTHER USER. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100.00).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless sellcars.io and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your listings or content, your transactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Disputes between buyers and sellers are solely between those users. For disputes between you and us relating to the Service, you agree to first contact us in good faith to seek an informal resolution. Any unresolved dispute will be governed by the laws and venue described below.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [YOUR STATE], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in [YOUR STATE] for any dispute not subject to informal resolution.
